Appalachian Foothills Fall Festival

The event depicts pioneer-life in the 1800’s. The setting is Heritage Park (Exit 25, Caldwell, Noble County Fairgrounds) & features a one-room school house, church, log cabin and covered bridge. Townspeople and crafters dress in period costumes and there are numerous displays:  Demonstrations of blacksmithing, apple press, butter churn, spinning, weaving, hat making, shoe making, wagon encampment, quilting, broom making are possible and vary year to year.

Multiple food vendors are scattered offering the usual fare but include many more, some cooked over open fires just like our ancestors did.

Held in conjunction with the Old Iron Power Club show the 3rd weekend in September.
